After many years of peace between the two species discontent is brewing between them. I am the the last of a rare breed, a combination of an Atlantean and a Terrestrial. My mother was an Atlantean and my Father was a Terrestrial. Due to my rare background both sides want to employ me to help them win the war. My parents have already passed away but I know they wouldn't want this war. They were a part of a small group of rebels who want peace between the specie. However I've never met the rebels before in my many years of travelling between the two peoples. Both sides want me for the sheer reason that I am a political prop. A few months later all peace talks have ended and a peaceful solution has been found for this war. With the end of the war both species still see each other with malice but their nations are prospering together. You are seen as a great savior. You have won

However they all are under the Rule of the Monarchy. The Monarchy isn't about to lie back and let the Terrestrial take more land for themselves.
